Unwanted visitor

Saturday November, 12th we had Andy and Danielle over for Thanksgiving dinner before Kevin and Andy had to leave 3 days later for North Dakota! While the kids were outside playing we heared Lauren yelling about a bobcat who got a hold of our Guinea fowl. Kevin and Andy ran outside with the guns and it was just sitting in the middle of our side yard with the bird in its mouth. Even though it tried running Kevin managed to get it! This although is not a full blood bobcat this is a mix between a Ferrel cat and bobcat either way it's the culprit for killing off the last 2 of our guinea fowls.

Aaaarg Maity

So even though I had bronchitis and Kevin was working out of town I could not let Prestyn go without trunk-or-treating! So we dressed up and went to our ward for a round around to get some candy! even though we did not stay long Prestyn had fun collecting candy and playing the games. Hopefully next year we can stay longer to enjoy the festivities!

Up to no good!

So as usual Prestyn got into my make-up except this time decided to dump the entire thing on him. He was very proud of himself and even came into show it off!

Prestyn's pumpkin patch @ mothers day out!

Prestyn's school took a field trip to the pumpkin patch mid october! It was fun and very cute it was at the directors mom's farm and they story time, hayrides, corn maze, and other little activities. All the kids had a blast running around through out the property and were even able to pick what ever pumpkin their little heart desired.

Double take!

So the other day I opened up a suit case I have some pictures and things packed in from the move and Jaydens pictures were on top other than the fact that I knew who it was I had to take a double take and Kevin actually thought it was Prestyn even our close friends and Prestyns teacher who saw these photos though it was Prestyn. From the very moment Prestyn was born he reminded me so much of his older brother. It wasn't until I saw them side by side at the same age that I knew how much the two of them actually do resemble each other. There's days I even tell Prestyn hes acting like his brother and he just laughs and says yeah :)! Makes me even sadder when I know they are not getting the brother bonding that they deserve to have!!!

My baby has moves

The kids yesterday were going crazy and Prestyn was whipping out some wicked moves thought you all would get a kick out of this!

Acrobat

Could not resist catching on camera! Even though he normally would get in trouble for this!

Future Drummer

Latley these days Prestyn turns everything into his own personal drum set!

Birthday @ Chuck E Cheese

Well even though we did not get many picture since my lovely camera decided to die here are a few picture of Prestyns birthday party. Although it was a huge success and a great turn out I don't think we will ever do it there again since that place was insanely crazy. Prestyn was of course afraid of Chuck E Cheese and wanted nothing to do with their little program they put on for the birthday kids, but the most important part was Prestyn had a blast and so did all his friends. We had a great time and it was even better because we could celebrate it with great friends!

First day back to school

Prestyn went back to school on Monday September 7th and it didn't take him long to get back in the groove. I had to again carry him out kicking and screaming because he did not want to leave. He Stayed in the same class he was last year since we wanted Prestyn to have his preschool graduation before he went into Kindergarten and since he has to wait an extra year because of his birthday this was the best choice. It was so nice though since 3 other boys from his class from last year stayed behind for the same reason. Prestyn loves his teacher miss Angie and has so much fun while he is there. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful program for him to interact with other children in a loving and educational environment. Prestyn will leave more than ready for kindergarten.

Happy 2nd Birthday Prestyn

I am still unsure where all the time went! I cant believe it has been 2 years since brought home our handsome baby boy. Our lives have been so blessed to have him here with us and he becomes more and more like his mommy everyday (help us)!!!! Prestyn is such a determined little boy and nothing stops him from trying to accomplish what he has set out to do! He loves his books and school, his favorite things to play with is anything but his own toys and everything in someway manages to be turned into drums. He loves music and dancing and cuddling with his mamma. His favorite shows are blues clues and fresh beat band. He loves animals and for some reason his animal of choice to imitate is a cat! He can be so dang stubborn and wants to control the situation and not be controlled we find our selves on a daily basis trying to compromise on what we will allow him to do and what he cant do! This does not always go over since Prestyn does not like to hear no. Although his party is not until the 17th Kevin, Prestyn and I celebrated at home alone I made a cake which I then forgot the candles and we sang Happy Birthday to him while he loved every bit of the attention he was getting. We had a gift for him as well for him to open which lasted maybe 2 days before it got pushed to the side and he has not touched it since! I am hopeing that he will soon start playing with his toys and leave our things (my kitchen and bathroom) alone! Wishful thinking I think, but well see!

Weekend Getaway

Since we did not get to go on our summer trip we needed a get away and Dallas was just the ticket. A few months ago the mall opened up an entertainment center that has a sea life aquarium and a Legoland discovery center. It was so much fun although it's not the Legoland amusement park you are thinking of, but it had a ton of fun things to do in a small environment that allowed plenty of fun and enjoyment for adults and children alike. Kevin and I as well as Prestyn had such a good time Prestyn loved the rides especially the one that lifted us up in the air and spun us around, but he loved the 4-d movie if you have not yet experienced one do so! I'm not sure which was more entertaining the movie or Prestyn trying to touch the objects he saw in his face :) Once we finished we had lunch Prestyn rode the carousal and we walked through the mall while Prestyn passed out. It was exactly what we all were needing and decided that we need more of these not only as a nice break in our boring lives, but to be able to enjoy our family while having fun and making memories. I am already trying to find something fun to do for our next trip!
