Merry Christmas Everyone

Sick Baby :(

I am so ready for poor Prestyn to get better as I am sure he is too. He's been sick for nearly 3 weeks now starting a few days before we left AZ. What started out to be just a back case of congestion turned into an infection. He was placed on Amoxacillin, but that made him worse it didn't help him, but made him sound worse as well as giving him a case of really bad diareha and because of that he has a horrible rash that seems to not want to go away as well as making him throw up soon after we would give him is dosage. He's seen his pediatrician twice now in a week and has to go back on Friday. This new medicine they placed him on Monday is working much better except he's still getting fevers. This poor kid just seems like he cant catch a brake.

Hanging out with Madison

Saturday I went and picked up Madison we went to peter piper pizza with some friends and went shopping for her birthday. When we got back to Grandma Pam's house we embellished her gifts with ribbon and jewels. We also had fun playing in the back yard with Dylan and Ava. Unfortunately the time was too short I love this little girl she is so fun at this age wanting to hang out and create things.

Minta's Bachlorette Party

Minta's Party was fun and very intresting at the same time! Dana, Holly, And I got a little gross but whats the point if you can just hang loose and have fun. The best part of the whole night I think was watching minta's friend Stacy!!!!!!

First Halloween

Prestyn's first Halloween went good. We did the Trunk or Treat at the church rather than stay home, we handed out candy to all the cute kids there. He was not happy at first with his costume, but than got use to it he as you can see is a tiger. This ended up being a last minuite costume and was all we could find he had two costumes one too big and the other to small. He was cute though! As you can see Prestyn did what he does best and sleept during most of the activities this Halloween Im sure that wont be the case next year.

Yamboree

While Danielle was down visiting from AZ the Yamboree was going on so we thought we would go down there and look. They had a carnival there where we rode a few rides and played some games it was fun other than the fact that we were the only adults that were on the rides. As you could see though Prestyn slept through the whole thing. They had bands playing and there were cute old couples dancing I just had to take a picture. My favorite part of the whole event was the food I love Turkey legs and it was worth the whole $5.50. Poor Kev though just ended up being the baby sitter It was good for him though. lol

Failed Attempt

While Danielle was here for a visit, we decided to go for a walk around the block. Instead of strapping the car seat onto the stroller I figured he would fit alright just in the stroller it self. Was I wrong the stroller harness was tightened as far as it would go It was huge as well as he did not fit so well in the stroller either. He looks huge to me especially since he was so tiny to began with, but when I place him in things or try to put him in his 0-3 clothes I get a reminder of how small he still really is.

These are the photo's we got of Prestyn when he was 15 days old. I love them I think they are so cute and I also think he has some pretty goofy faces in some, but what could you ask of a new born. Only a face a mother would love!! lol I'm totally kidding.

Tummy Time

Prestyn loves his tummy time as long as he has a full belly!!

ZZZZZZ

After days of struggling with a very tired baby who did not want to sleep and when he finally did and I put him down in his bed he would wake up fussy and we started the battle all over again, I have learned the solution. Prestyn is very aware of when it's night time and when it's day he will sleep in his bed at night with no problems, but wants nothing to do with it during the day. He wants to be in the same room with me and is very content with sleeping in his bouncer, swing, couch or in my arms if you try anything else he refuses to nap! what a stubborn baby I wonder where he gets it!!

Daddy's home

Yeah daddy came home last night I love when Kevin is home and as you can see Prestyn does to. It's nice to have him here to help me with Prestyn so I can get things done. I some times get sad though because he does everything I know that's a stupid complaint, but when I try to take him so he can go to sleep before he has to work again in the morning he refuses and takes Prestyn to bed with him. I think it's funny and I can understand since he does not get to see him as often or get to see hold him much. All's I can say is I am happy to have a husband who is willing to stay awake late and wake up early with the baby so I can get more sleep as well as taking over the feedings and diaper changes when he is home. He really is so good with him.

Going for a walk

Prestyn and I went for a walk up the street the other morning since he was refusing to go to sleep and was a little fussy. I was hoping that it would help him fall asleep. Man was I kidding myself this kid loves being outside and he was wide awake during the whole thing as well as for 2 hrs after wards. I see this photo compared to the other ones when he's in his car seat and I cant believe how much he has grown.

How Time flys

I Just realized today that Prestyn is a month old today. I can't believe how the time has flown by It does not even feel like it. I guess the busy filled days of diaper changing and feedings has made me washy. I definitely know no time right now. I was on the phone with Kevin yesterday and he asked me what day it was I had to look at my phone I had no clue what day it was let alone the date. I guess for now that is just how it will be till Prestyn gets a little older and we can have a set schedule so things are not just on the whim like they are now. Prestyn though is doing good he is still smiling and laughing at who knows what, but I can say that for the first time today he smiled and I'm pretty sure it was at me this time I know it sounds stupid, but I actually got a little teary eyed knowing that he is starting to recognize me and is being able to focus on more things. Even though I miss my sleep and the time I had to complete just simple tasks I love every moment I have with this cute little boy.

Swing time

Friday we bought Prestyn a swing though I dont think he hates it, but he also does not know if he loves it. He will stay in it for a little while at least only because I have placed it in front of the window and he can look outside.
