Easter Party at School

Prestyn had his Easter party at school today! They had such a cute set up for all of the kids. They started out riding the train around and then it drove them to the Easter bunny and where they were going to hunt for eggs. Prestyn wanted in it, but as it started to drive off he became upset and wanted out so they stopped and let him out. Like everything Prestyn wanted back in and cried as they drove over to the Easter bunny and when they stopped jumped right back in and didn't want to get back out again. Prestyn wanted nothing to do with the Easter bunny which I already assumed would happen. Prestyn didn't want to hold his basket, but after the first egg he got the idea and picked them up and brought then back to place in his basket. All the kids were so cute during this. After we were finished they went back to have a picnic lunch by the Easter bunny and then rode the train back for nap time Prestyn climbed right in on the way back and rode it all the way with a smile on his face. It was so cute to watch him interact with his class and friends.

Flying a Kite with Dad

A friend from play group gave us this kite and since we were able to get all the yard work done yesterday we took advantage of the 70 degree weather and wind by seeing how well it flew. Prestyn loved holding it and had fun feeling like a big boy while doing it. After watching them have doing it I of course took a turn and just as I was reeling it in a strong gust caught the kit shooting it out of my hands luckily I was able to case it down and Kevin was able to pull it out of the trees with no damage being done to it. Thank goodness we can continue to have more fun with it on a later time.

Two weeks ago we took a trip to Tyler for play group and went to the zoo so a few of these are from that and the others were an attempt to get pictures of prestyn by a really cool old train except he refused to look at me which has been the case lately every time I try I really need to invest in a quick shot camera where I can take several pictures in a few seconds.

While Holly and I were in Tyler we figured we would go see the rose gardens that they are so know for every year not to mention the pageant and parade as well. When we arrived at the convention center we noticed they had a museum filled with these manikins dressed in theses crazy outfits, of course Holly convinced me to go look and thank goodness we did because it was so funny. All of the dresses that you see here are for the 2010 pageant and you cant believe how detailed these things are. Holly and I could not believe that they actually wore these. One was a poodle, another a cotton ball, a mermaid, and then one the universe or something, you would never catch me dead wearing this stuff. Too bad the roses were just barely starting to bud because it would have been so cool to see the court house that they have all in bloom.
