So the last week and a half I have been going to see a acupuncturist and can I say I love it. The steroids were doing nothing except making me feel like crap and giving me a bunch of side effects. Why anyone would willingly want to do that to themselves is beyond me. I had no improvement on them. the first acupuncture appointment I could tell a difference in my pain on the left side of my face. The second appointment I was able to feel some movement in my muscles which I could not feel before and later that night I was slightly able to move my left eye more. The next morning I was able to form my mouth and whistle again I was so excited. Ive been 2 more times and I have more control of my left eye and half my smile forms on the left side I still have paralysis but its getting better and I am so excited. If I knew acupuncture would work this well I would have done it from the very beginning. Its not so noticeable now and I am emotionally recuperating from the dark cloud that hung over me since I was diagnosed. I am so glad my life seems to be getting back to normal a little at a time anyway. I just want to thank all my friends and family that has showed me so much love and support I love you all and am so happy you are all a part of my life. The biggest support came from my awesome husband who continued to tell me how much he loved me and help me through it even though at times I was a blubbering idiot and emotional wreck. Without his support I don't know what I would have done. So thank you Kevin for loving me!!!!
