A day at the park

Life seems to be getting busier with a little boy who is everywhere and into everything no drawer, cabinet, or toilet is safe. We try to keep him out of as much as we can and it usually works for a short time until he gets smart and figures it out. Prestyn will be 1 in a week and a half I still can not believe it is already here. I don't feel like its been that long since he was born. This year has held so many surprises for us many are new exciting events in our lives such as buying our first home, but others not so good with Prestyn being sick quite a bit and Kevin's knee surgery. We have made it thru and are doing great though. Next Saturday is Prestyns party which should be a blast and the last event we will have in our house in Longview, it will be a little bitter sweet. Since it has been so hot and humid more so than normal this year we have not done a lot of things outside. Thankfully mother nature gave us a break these last few days and the weather has been gorgeous. The last few night and mornings have been in the 60's so to take advantage of it we went to the park this morning. The weather could not have been any nicer it was in the 70's and shaded in the play area. Prestyn loved the slide and climbing the stairs. He did at one point eat a wood chip (eeewww) I tried catching him in time, but was not successful. I find it funny that at any age kids think its fun to load the bottom of the slide up with sand or wood chips! I hope we get more days like this and the weather is just as nice next Saturday for the party. I thought i got a bunch of cute pictures today and wanted to share with all of you.
