Weekend fun and new guests!

Last week while Kevin was home it was time to get some yard work done! Prestyn was obsessed with playing on or riding around on the lawn mower all weekend. He had so much cutting the grass with daddy he got so comfortable in fact that he fell asleep while doing it and of course as I pull him off he starts screaming and wants back on. Kevin also put up the electric fence to bring home our new pet (Betsy) who is due in 4 months with a baby calf. she has been fun Prestyn was first terrified of her and now has wormed up unless she moo's then he starts crying, but he is getting better. Sunday while I was cleaning out the closets of things that needed to be moved to the shed Prestyn was in the sun room and I could here him dumping the range cubes for the cow in her tin. By the time I walked into the sun room with a tub he was gone as I waled outside he was walking towards Betsy with her food and she was waiting for him at the fence. it was too cute he gets so excited when it comes to feeding her he took it upon himself to do it on his own! He's going to be a good little farmer one day. Thankfully though Betsy is filling out now since she was too skinny when we got her and I am sure in no time she will be nice and fat and ready for her baby to come. I have contemplated on getting a bottle for Prestyn to feed the baby when it gets here, but well see what happens once it comes! For now she just like having a big dog around she gets so excited when she sees us bringing her range cubes hopping and jumping the whole way over to eat, She knows and responds to her name coming when you call her even if shes on the other side of the yard, She follows your every move when your inside the fence and loves being pet and payed attention too she moos at you as soon as you stop or walk away from her letting you know she was not ready to stop :)
