AAAAHHHHH

I know every mom goes thru this and I'm not the only one, but I lately cant stand my child! I know that's horrible for me to say, but he is in a stage right now where nothing makes him happy and he just wines just because he can. I loved it when he learned how to say "momma" can I just say I never thought I would be so sick of hearing on word. I know it will pass, but not having Kevin ever home and also trying to get my homework done for my classes is really taking a toll. I need to find a outlet during the week to allow me a break and something fun for Prestyn. I cant wait until this clingy stage is over I just hope it's soon for both mine and Prestyn's well being. I LOVE BEING A MOM.....lol

9 Months

Prestyn is now 9 months old man how time flys. We saw the Dr on Wednesday and thankfully he does not need any shots till hes 1, so they just took his height and weight and made sure he was healthy. He is now 30 inches long and weighs 22lbs 4oz, he is in the 80th percentile for his age group. He is such a big boy and growing soo fast. Since my last update he had started crawling at 7 months and at the same time started pulling himself up on everything he could find. About a week after that he had found his legs and loves to cruse around......as much as I can do anyways! He is so curious and everything is his toy. He is a pro at walking around the furniture and shifting to different ones without having to climb down! My worst fear also came true today Climbing.....yep climbing I just found him dangling off his highchair and of course before I could grab him he fell thankfully unhurt and not faced since their was not even a cry or whimper from him (only the ones coming from me :)

I don't think I'm ready for whats to come ones he does

decide to start walking on his own which I'm sure is not too far off since his balance improves everyday and barely needs much assistance now.....I'm just ready for his teething to be done with he now has 6 teeth 2 on the bottom and 4 on top with the other 2 on bottom starting to show signs of possibly coming in soon! Cant wait till its all over with he is not pleasant to be around when he's in pain.

Visit at Grandmas

We went 3 wks ago to Kevin's mom's house in Gladewater to one so Kevin could help bleed her boyfriends breaks on his truck, but to also see his Grandpa. Prestyn was a busy busy baby that day he had just started crawling and shortly after that had decided he would rather be on his feet. He was not happy unless he was cruising around.....man that really kills a back too. Since he was so busy we ended up having to create a makeshift play pen....can we say red neck! It didn't matter to Prestyn though and it helped to give us a break from the walking........thank goodness. I love the picture with the boots I think it's too cute. This was JJ who is the son of Dean (mom's boyfriend).

Busy Busy Busy

Prestyn has just in the last 2 days got a hang of crawling! He at this point though will only crawl far enough to find something to climb on or pull himself up. Today that was the vacuum cleaner, coffee table, and entertainment center. I did get him to make it down the hall which was a long process since he would stop and sit a few times on the way. He though is good at getting into things he should not! I have tried baby proofing, but theirs almost so much that you can do. I have gated, blocked, moved, and pack in the closet all I can, but some how it is just not enough. I am enjoying the new steps that he is taking and watching him grow, I almost cant believe how big he has gotten and how old he seems to me it makes me so sad when I see how tiny he was I loved just holding him and cuddling. He though cant sit still long enough for me to enjoy a good coddle, but I know he's excited about all the things he is able to do it doesn't make it any easier though.

8 months

Prestyn is 8 months old today. Man how time fly's before I know it will be September and he will be the big 1! Just in the last few weeks he has changed so much, he just began to feed himself finger foods, he has almost figured out the crawling (still a little rusty, but figuring out the hand-leg movement) he is starting to pull himself up on things and standing up on all four. This kid is not satisfied with just crawling he wants to crawl, stand, and pull him self on things all at the same time:) I hate bed time though right now naps are horrible he wants to scream and throw a fit for thirty min until I can go in there and get him to stay laying down and relax, except yesterday Kevin was home and refused to let me go in there. It kills me I cant just sit down and listen to him screaming even though I know it not helping, but rather making it worse. Prestyn though was going to see it thru yesterday 1 hr and 20 min he screamed until he finally stoped. lets just say when he woke up he was a little horse getting better though he is not crying as bad or as long today so I guess its helping. Still does not make it any easier.

7 months update

Prestyn has changes so much in the last few weeks, he cut his top two teeth last week which now makes 4 that he has and he finally started putting himself in the crawl position where he's rocking back and forth. Still not crawling, but he is able to pull him self around a bit enough I should say to start getting into things! He is now 20.04 lbs and 28.25 inches long and still growing. Yesterday I went shopping and spent the day baby proofing the house still have a bit more to do, but Mr. busy butt yesterday got into his first thing...can you guess yeah that's right straight to the entertainment center. He was able to unwedge the case with all the movies in it and was flipping through the pages trying to pull out the pictures of the movies. He was so proud of himself for doing this. He also managed to pull down one of my silk plants on top of himself this morning and pulling out my school stuff from underneath our coffee table. Man do I have my work cut out for me with this one I'm sure he's going to be busy busy busy. Picacho Peak

So the day before we left we traveled about 1hr to Picacho Peak. Can I just say this was a interesting outing. So we were suppose to be going up to see all the wild flower, but with our luck we missed it by 1 week (story of my life). We still decided to go though knowing there would be a play ground and cave for the kids and the ranger told us before we went that the trails were stroller friendly (huh)! Yeah so we ended up 4 wheeling with the strollers trying to get to the cave and of course not expecting a mountain hike Dana and I wore sandals, yeah it was pretty comical. Other than the work out up the mountain it was pretty fun and we got some cute pictures out of it.

My first swim

Prestyn went swimming for the first time during our trip to AZ. The water was still real chilly, but not unbearable and after a while in it felt fine. Prestyn though did not seem to mind even though his cousin Rowen who is 3 mos younger than him touched it with his toes and wanted nothing else to do with it. It was funny though to see how Prestyn reacted I would have to say that I was surprised a bit by it, I was some what expecting the cold water to bother him. I cant wait till we do mommy and me lessons this year I know Prestyn will love it.

Big Sister

I love seeing Madison every time I come down

she is such a cute little girl and she loves her baby brother, she's like a little mommy when she comes around. Madison, Ava and Dylan all had fun playing in the water in the backyard, but we were going to be seeing a movie so Madison had to wear my pj's while her clothes dried she was having fun dress up with the necklaces and role playing she was so funny.

Freestone Park

Mom, Dana, Kristy, and I all took the kids to freestone park to ride on the train and the other rides that they have there it was fun up until I got sick from riding the carousal. I should have known better, but I wanted Prestyn to ride it. The funny thing about it is he was sitting up strait holding on to the pole and every round we went he sank lower and lower Dana and I were laughing because it was funny little did we know he was doing it because he was getting sick:( I found that out later after we got off and he threw up a little poor baby! Luckily though it passed and he was just fine. We hung out and waited for the other kids to ride the other rides and then we went onto the train which was kinda fun other than it was a little warm that day, but not too bad. You could definitely tell it was spring since their was baby ducks everywhere they were so cute and Ava and Dylan were so excited to see them.

Visiting a friend

I went to go visit Danae (Fish) while i was there and to see her little boy Mathew. These were the only moments that Prestyn was happy since after this Mathew took everything away from Prestyn and he had a cow! He did not understand why someone was being so mean, his feelings were so hurt that day.

Some Burros

One of the nights while we were in AZ a bunch all of us including the Millers got together to have dinner. I thought these were some cute and funny pictures of dad and Prestyn eating.

Family Love

I don't know why, but one morning Dylan woke up and decided that Prestyn was going to become his wrestling buddy. It was the funniest think I was sure Prestyn would get up set, but he loved every bit of it. As you can see Dylan wrapped his legs around Prestyns neck and was tossing him around I love these pictures and think they are absolutely hilarious. After he got done doing this Dylan also though it was fun to sit on Prestyns lap and he again didn't mind just attacked Dylan's head and laughed. These two were so funny to watch and even funnier to see Prestyn enjoying it as much as he did. Who knew at 7 mos he would find wrestling around so funny. Man do I have my work cut out for me when he gets older.

Zoom Zoom Zoom

After the nightmare of missing our first flight to Arizona I was luckily only suck in Dallas for a neither 2hrs in which Prestyn enjoyed playing on the toys next to our terminal. I would have to say though the best part of it all was we got our own row. Thanks to the fact that the plane was only half full and prestyn loved it hard to say who enjoyed it more me or him :). Anyways the flight went great like they all have so far with him and he got to lounge in his own big seat. I just have to say though I think he intentionally sticks his tongue out in pictures, it's his signature pose!
